Most of these sculptures were built from the 11th to the 13th century, the head of the bridge was built by King Suryavarman I and completed by King Uday Tithvarman II.Considering that the water that flows here is a source of prosperity and coolness, and also used in agriculture, they carved countless penises that inherited the idol at the bottom of the river from the north of Natural stone bridge down to the waterfall. That is why the Sanskrit inscription here is called Saha Preah Ling 1.

Each time there is a carved throne attached to it, these sculptures are listed at the bottom of the river, about 200 meters long, along the banks and on some of the walls. In addition, sculptures in many places have a statue of Vishnu lying in the middle of the ocean in a transition. Brahma emerges from Narayan's navel through a lotus flower to create a new world. It is the water that flows through and receives the magic from these sculptures, which form the Russey River and split into the Puok River and the Siem Reap River.

The kbal spean (head of the bridge) is the name of a large rock shaped like a stone bridge of the Kulen mountain range, with a tributary flowing through it. For the Khmer people of the Angkorian period, this natural resort was extremely sacred because the stream of the river, which also had a waterfall, sprinkled the area of Angkor Thom before flowing into the Tonle Sap Lake. After it met with the Siem Reap River. The sacred nature of the head of the bridge can be reflected in the fine sculptures in the Baphuon style, which are carved on the stone walls or at the bottom of the river, such as Vishnu or Narayan, resting on the goddess Shiva or Iso, Kong Ke, Kon Nin and Preah. Brahma resembles a lotus flower and has a statue of Shiva.
